Food Packaging

Allow Great Taste to Pass

Within the food product industry, wetlaid is mainly used for coffee filters and tea bags.

Liquid resistant and permeable
Wetlaid is used within food production packaging due to its reminiscent of paper, but being much more durable. Unlike paper, wetlaid withstands liquid while allowing fluid to pass through very well.

Bonded together
The material can also be bonded together with the help of heat, making it optimal for use in coffee filters, tea bags and other food production packages.

The food product industry has realized the advantages of nonwoven in relation to paper. Nonwoven is more durable and can be bonded together. This is a huge advantage when manufacturing coffee filters och tea bags.

HDPE nonwoven
HDPE nonwoven can be used in the packaging in cases with high demands on durability and high quality printing. In addition, it has a density that allows it to block harmful

substances such as mold. The material can, among other things, be used to seal packages as a cover or lid. It is also used for sterile packaging within healthcare.
